About me
I've spent the last 20+ years building, fixing, and supporting growing businesses.
My background is in hospitality and property-led organisations, where I’ve held senior operational and executive roles and taken responsibility for everything from commercial performance and people management to systems, branding, and major change projects. Most recently, I led a privately owned hotel through a period of transformation, strengthening reputation by raising standards, overseeing refurbishment projects, and ensuring full regulatory compliance.
I’ve always worked best close to the detail. I like understanding how a business really functions — where it makes money, where it leaks time or margin, and where things quietly don’t work as well as everyone hopes they do. From there, I focus on practical improvements that make life easier for owners and teams, not more complicated.
Frank Consulting grew out of that way of working. I set it up to support founders, directors, and small leadership teams who need experienced, calm, senior-level input — but don’t need (or want) a full-time executive. Sometimes that means stepping in to lead, sometimes it means acting as a sounding board, and sometimes it means getting very hands-on and helping to untangle a business that’s grown faster than its systems.
I’m known for being straightforward, commercially minded, and quietly tenacious. I care about doing things properly, treating people well, and building businesses that are profitable, resilient, and sustainable — not just impressive on paper.
When I’m not working, I’m usually balancing family life, travelling in my motorhome, or getting some fresh air on long dog walks.
